If you are looking for an internship at the hotel reception, it is in the right direction. We have places available in the best hotels in Spain!

At the reception you will welcome and assist you upon arrival at the hotel and throughout your stay at the property. Your duties include checking in and out of guests, handing over keys, making reservations, preparing receipts and collecting invoices. In addition, you will be in charge of answering the requests and questions of the guests and trying to resolve their complaints. Receptionists can be considered as the business card of the hotel or tourist establishment. Come and find the destination you are passionate about!

Basic requirements:

-Be an active student looking for curricular or extracurricular internship scans such as: Administration, Hotel and Tourism, Public or international relations and/or careers at the end.
– High Spanish level
– High English level
– Desirable knowledge of other languages*
– Be at least 18 years of age
(*) If it is in France, high French level is required.

What are the tasks?

  • ReservationsMake, confirm, modify or cancel reservations by phone, email or internet.
  • AvailabilityIndicate availability to the customer in case of not having the required dates.
  • ScheduleTake note of the personal data of the customer and schedule the reservation in the system.
  • RegistrationGuests check-in and check-out.
  • AllocationAssign the corresponding rooms and activate and hand over the keys or access cards to the guests.
  • ServiceTo meet the requirements of the guests when necessary, always demonstrating a friendly and respectful attitude.
  • PromotionPromote all the services offered by the hotel, inform about the established schedules and make reservations for some external services such as sightseeing tours of the city, car rental, taxi service, among others.
  • InformationInform about meeting rooms and manage their use.
  • Feed backListen to the guest's opinions regarding the services offered and stay at the hotel and transmit it to the managers of each department in order to improve the quality of service.
