As you know, animafest offers many courses in Spain. What if, beyond working, we find activities to do in your free time? I have searched for the most fun things to do on the islands during your internship! I will first introduce you to the islands we offer for training, then to a few others to discover, as well as their traditional dishes!
There are 7 islands to discover in the Canaries :
- Lanzarote : volcanoes, nature and art
- Tenerife : parties, shopping, traditional villages and volcanic landscapes
- Fuerteventura : dream beaches and aquatic activities
- Gran Canaria : picturesque villages, mountains and archaeological sites
- La Palma : hiking and extreme adventures
- La Gomera : mountains and gastronomy
- El Hierro : forest excursions and scuba diving
We are fortunate to have internship opportunities in 3 of these islands: Lanzarote, Tenerife and Fuerteventura. Here is what you can do during your internship in your free time!

Tenerife
Tenerife is one of the most popular islands of the archipelago. It is home to many treasures, such as a volcano or a lot of landscapes worthy of a postcard, like the landscapes of Santa Cruz. Everything is there to have a good time, beaches and historical monuments. In this island you will also find the incredible Siam Park, an aquatic amusement park that opened in 2008. Excursions among whales and dolphins, sperm whales, rorquals, sea turtles, and many others! Tenerife is the cheapest island of the Canary Islands, for an internship it is the perfect place!
Lanzarote
This city is known for its volcanic eruptions of the eighteenth century, thanks to them, a large part of the island emerged. The eruptions are at the origin of a spectacular landscape! The Timanfaya National Park is perfect for beautiful excursions having sublime landscapes, historical volcanoes, dried lava, and many others. Doing your internship in this paradisiacal setting, what happiness!
Fuerteventura
Nicknamed “the red island” in connection with the arid landscapes composed of dunes. Relaxing on the beach, surfing on their beautiful waves, nothing better! This island contains the most beautiful beaches of the Canary Islands, and many water sports. On your way to this island, you will have to pass by the Gayria, a volcano located in the center of the island and which is part of its history.
Here are the three Canary Islands in our address book! Do your internship and visit all these beautiful landscapes! Reception, bar, restaurant, animation ! All these training courses are at your disposal in landscapes as beautiful as each other. These are not the only islands in the Canaries, so we wanted to suggest that you see the beautiful activities to do in other islands during your internship.
Snorkeling
In all the Canary Islands, it will be possible to go snorkeling. Many activities are planned, with many experts. Go and see small fish, turtles, jellyfish! To your masks and snorkels!
Gran canaria 
In the Gran Canarias, diving sessions are possible to visit the city! Visit everything from the capital Las Palmas to catamaran cruises. Jet Ski, parachute jumping, canyoning, and quad and camel rides! Everything is there to spend a dream time, and a well filled course.
La palma
La Palma is an oasis of greenery, yet discreet, is totally worth a visit. On this island is La Caldeira, which is a deep basin of 900 meters below the sea. An unprecedented moment of tourism!
