Description: Join a welcoming wine-and-tapas bar in Pontevedra and learn the rhythms of bar service while helping guests discover local flavours. You will welcome customers, take orders and serve drinks and tapas, with a particular focus on introducing guests to Albariño and other wines from the area. You will also help prepare wine flights, keep the bar and service areas tidy, check stock, and assist with opening and closing routines. During quieter periods, you can help update tasting notes and menu information with the team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable intern who enjoys working with people and is keen to learn about hospitality and Galician wine. Previous bar experience is not required. Spanish at B2 and English at B1 are required; basic German or Italian is helpful but not essential. You should be comfortable working some evenings and weekends and follow responsible alcohol-service and hygiene practices. The internship is full-time for four months and includes a salary and lunch vouchers.
