Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso is known as the most influential artist of the 20th century. He greatly changed the art of the twentieth century. Most of his famous works are generally held by museums and several other paintings are among the most expensive ever sold. Pablo Picasso is certainly the most famous Spanish artist and many regard him as the greatest painter of all time.

Antoni Gaudí

Antoni Gaudí is one of the most influential architects not only in Spain but also in the world. He is considered the major representative of Catalan modernism. His works are characterized by the incorporation of construction technologies inspired by nature and the presence of deep religious symbolism. Catholicism had a great influence on Gaudí’s life, going so far as to condition all aspects of the architect’s personality. The most important works of Gaudí in Barcelona are the Sagrada Familia, Casa Vicens, Palazzo Güell, Casa Batlló, Park Güell and La Pedrera. All these monuments, together with the crypt of Colony Güell, located in Santa Coloma de Cervelló, are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Francisco Goya 

Francisco Goya rose to prominence in the art scene through her series of tapestry cartoons and became the court painter to the Spanish Crown. She later developed a penchant for portrayals of a dark nature for which she is most known today. Goya is renowned for highly imaginative elements in her art and bold use of paint. Her style became an inspiration for later generations of artists. Francisco Goya is known as the most influential Spanish artist of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. And one of the great portraitists of modern times. Most preferred works of Francisco Gosya are Friar Pedro Shoots El Maragato as His Horse Runs Off, Seated Giant, The Count of Fernán Núñez and Don Andrés del Peral

Salvador Dali

At 6 years old, he made his first paintings. At the age of 21, a whole exhibition is devoted to him. Recognized Spanish painters, Miró and Picasso, admire his work. Dalí studied art in Madrid, then in Paris. He is interested in all the arts: cinema, literature, theater, sculpture. But painting remains central. His most famous works are Cristo de San Juan de la Cruz (1951), El gran masturbador (1929), Construcción blanda con judías hervidas (Premonición de la Guerra Civil) (1936),Cisnes que se reflejan como elefantes (1937) and La persistencia de la memoria (1931).
